About NAPPI Podcast + Insights

A community-centered space exploring healing, justice, and collective well-being through storytelling, lived experience, and transformative dialogue.

Welcome to NAPPI

Not A Positive Perspective Insights (NAPPI) is a community-centered platform rooted in healing, justice, and collective well-being.

This space exists to hold honest conversations about what it means to live, heal, and build safer communities in real time—not in theory, but through lived experience.

Through our podcast and written reflections, we explore:

  • Mental health and emotional well-being

  • Community safety beyond punishment

  • Restorative and transformative justice

  • Systems, harm, and accountability

  • The everyday realities of healing

We center voices that are often unheard—people directly impacted, community practitioners, and those doing the work on the ground.

The Podcast

The NAPPI Podcast brings together storytelling, insight, and dialogue.

Each episode invites listeners into conversations that are:

  • Grounded in lived experience

  • Rooted in community wisdom

  • Focused on real pathways toward healing and justice

This is not just about awareness—it’s about transformation.

CoFounders + Hosts

NAPPI is cofounded and led by Matriarch Sankofa, Chief Executive Officer of Ad Astra Sankofa, LLC.

Matriarch’s work sits at the intersection of healing, justice, and community transformation. With a focus on lived experience, restorative practices, and systems change, she creates spaces for honest dialogue around harm, accountability, and collective care.

Through NAPPI, she brings together community voices, practitioners, and thought leaders to explore what it means to build safety and well-being beyond traditional systems.

Her approach centers:

  • Community-rooted knowledge

  • Mental and emotional well-being

  • Community healing as a shared responsibility

NAPPI is both a platform and a practice—guided by the belief that the people closest to the issues are closest to the solutions.
